CLEANLINESS |

Our new facility features an assembly cleanroom to insure no contaminants are introduced into the bearings during assembly. |
|
All spindle components are ultrasonically sterilized before assembly. |
|
To eliminate contamination, oil is purified to meet ISO Cleanliness Standard 14/12 and shop air is filtered through a 0.9 micron filter and dried to a -40 degree F dew point. |
INSPECTION |

Our new facility includes a climate-controlled metrology room for precision component inspection. |
|
SE SETCO has a complete set of snap gages, dial bores, and calibrated master gages to allow for precise measurements of critical spindle dimensions. |
MACHINERY |

Precision grinding equipment allows for holding tight tolerances on critical dimensions. |
|
A Fischer centergrinder allows for journals to be ground off the true centerline of the shaft. |
|
All rotating components are precision balanced before assembly to minimize spindle vibration. |
QUALITY CONTROL |

Our new facility includes a dedicated test and runoff room for exhaustive spindle testing and evaluation. |
|
High frequency vibration analyzers are used to evaluate the spindle bearing condition, and check for any possible defects. This ensures that any spindle you recieve from SE SETCO in in first-class condition. |
|
All testing results are fully documented in our comprehensive database for future reference. |
