SE SETCO is a joint venture between a leading spindle manufaturer, SETCO and one of the world's largest users of high speed machine tools, The Timken Company. As a result, SE SETCO is at the forefront of both spindle and manufacturing technology.
SE SETCO was established in 1994 in Norcross, Georgia to provide a local repair source for high-frequency grinding spindles in the southeast market.
In late 1997, the SE SETCO facility was fully restaffed to provide Complete Service. Engineering and assembly personnel were added to allow SE SETCO to service high-frequency grinding, high-speed milling and all other types of spindles. In addition, the restaffing allowed SE SETCO to expand from being strictly a repair center into the areas of vibration, field service, training, and technical support.
In March 1999, SE SETCO relocated to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Suwanee, Georgia, in north suburban Atlanta. This facility allows SE SETCO to continue to improve its standing as the country's top quality spindle service and repair provider.
